Alyssa's first lost tooth
Came home yesterday & Alyssa greets me all excited with her big eyes wide open saying: "Dad, I lost my first tooth & now I look super ugly."
Me: "Wow, you seem pretty happy about it. Though you could never look ugly."

This little guy...
Every evening after dinner, he begs to go out for a walk, so now it's become a routine. "Walk , walk".. he'll say, he'll make the horse sound then clap till I say yes. As soon as we get to the gate he'll say "hand" & raise his hand & wait for me to hold it.
So now me & him go for a walk every evening, we stop by a house that has a friendly dog, Jaden will offer leaves or anything he finds.

Then we are off to see the horse, Jaden will start pulling grass, weeds anything he thinks the horse might like.
We are not always lucky, sometimes the horses don't come over & Jaden will wait for as long as I let him.
He also has this fascination for bugs, we found a big bumble bee who was a having a hard time flying, Jaden tried to pick it up so I gave him little stick & he got all excited when the bee latched to it.
Needless to say this has become my favorite time of the day.

Sheryl is 8!!
Had a "Narnia" themed party as requested by her majesty herself, as you can see the girls got really into it. Sheryl was the older daughter of Eve, (I can't remember the name) - all fine there as she carried bow & arrow. Alyssa wanted to be Lucy, complete with potion vial & dagger, now there we had a problem.

...she's good!!

The Gladiator
Here is something I just finished, started out just for fun & ended up being more fun than I expected,
no Jaden wasn't out in the rain - though I doubt he'd mind, nor did I give him a sword & armour, it was all added in Photoshop. I wanted to make a picture that looked like a movie poster & I must say I am pretty happy with the results.

Here is one a few steps later without armour & sword, more of a Casablanca poster

A week with daddy
Mommy is been gone for almost a week now, she is at the ED seminar in Spain. And while she is busy sun tanning studying, the kids have been having some time with daddy.
Jaden is getting weaned & he is doing just great, for some reason it always sounds a lot worst that it really is. He's been are really good boy... most of the time.
On sunday we went to a nearby forest after checking out this castle:
till we got kicked out by the rangers, apparently we were trespassing!
We then walked through a field full of sheep. All three kids started chasing them around, including Jaden. He was making this really cute "sheep" sound, while running at his top speed.
Alyssa's triumphant return, she had gone so far she couldn't even hear me... of course instead of getting told off, she got this picture taken:
